Understanding the way nature works with us to help reduce our stress.
Being close to nature gives us a chance to decrease our stresses.
We nurture our plants by watering them. Also by pruning their leaves and tilling their soil we nature and care for our plants. This simple but powerful act transforms our stress into a form of energy that the plants can use. They can not move or act on their own, they rely on us. Yes, they are much like small frail children that need our love and attention to grow and blossom. The plants that we care for will take in our stress and sad energy, they will store it and some how transform it into growing energy.
Plants and humans need each other to co exist, they give off oxygen and need carbon dioxide. We in turn give off carbon dioxide and need oxygen to live. How amazing is that! Also plants are a food source for us as well. Be aware that plants absorb your stress; they want to nurture you as you nurture them. Don’t overwhelm them too much. You will notice that their leaves may turn a bit brown or their leaves may have an unnatural curl to them. Finding another way to reduce your stress by meditation, perhaps, and your plants will regain their strength.
