Many of us do not live in areas that have winters of extreme cold weather conditions, but we can still get stressed none the less.
The tepid climate people seem to have it much easier, if we allow ourselves to give away some stress for clear thinking and creativity.
Winter time means getting outside more, especially in the early evenings. Tepid climates are refreshing and calming in the evening because you can take a long walk with a friend or your dog. You get exercise that will reduce your levels of stress and your mind is made clearer by the slowing of stimulation that you give it. You truly prepare your body and mind for sleep this way.
This may be winter time for some but it is more like spring to you who live in the tepid climates. Milder winters give you the reason to declutter your living environment and your mind. Both are extremely good stress reducers. Plan your projects so you are not overwhelmed, even if the room does not get completely finished, work on your mind. Clear your thoughts with meditation and reflection. Feel purposeful while you plan your decluttering projects. Remember you do not have to finish a room at a time, small chunks work the best.
