After work is usually a rushed time for most nurses and caregivers. A rush to get home, a rush to fix a meal, a rush to get on Facebook and work on your "Farm" application. Yes, this is your way to unwind. I 'm on Facebook too, I spend a whole fifteen minutes or so posting Happy Birthday messages, answering my Facebook Mail and perhaps posting on my discussion board of my group page. So your rush to unwind will cause you stress, believe it or not. If you have a family to tend to your rush is even more stressed. It takes a committee to get family co-operation at times, and the strategies of a chess master to get all the things done in one evening.Stress relief starts with you, you set the tone for your home and family, even if your family consists of a loving pet or a plant.
Leave work at work, plan your evening in the morning, before you go to work or in your head while you drive to work and make a list before you get out of your car.Remenber failing to plan is a plan that will fail. In other words, attracting stress will bring stress right back at you.
